Our hotel "Zum Schwarzen Walfisch" welcomes you with attractive and spacious furnished double rooms. All rooms are bright, friendly, comfortable and equipped with bath, shower, toilet, radio and TV. Whether you want a room with a view on our Cathedral Square and the Baroque Fridolinsmünster or you prefer the rear facing rooms, you will feel compfortable in our hotel.
Our rich breakfast buffet, the cosiness in our historic walls and the central location of our hotel will please you.
We are happy to offer the opportunity for an extra bed for families in our double rooms category "Comfort". Families with 4 people can book 2 double rooms with a connecting door - of course we therefor have a special price - just contact us for more information

Our double rooms, we offer you in 3 categories. The Double rooms in category "Comfort" are spreaded in house "Walfisch" and "Flora". They were re-opened in 2009. The attractive, spacious and well furbished rooms are large with the space of about 30-35square meters (322-377 square feet). The Double rooms in "Standard" are located above the “Flora”. They offer a perfect view of the Baroque Fridolin Cathedral. These rooms are approximately 30 square meters (322 square feet). The Double rooms in "Economy" have the same facilities but are located on the back of the house with a space of about 20-25 square meters (215-269 square feet).

Parking:
Of course, during check in/out you are allowed to drive your car to the front of the hotel in the pedestrian zone, right in front of our hotel. After check in/out you may park in the parking garage “Lohgerbe” about 200 meters away from our hotel. Appropriate parking passes are available for a fee of € 5.00 at the reception. After 18:00 there is a lot of free parking available for the night nearby the hotel.
